In 2012 Grand Strand Juniors will host the Coastal Classic Volleyball Championships in Myrtle Beach, SC.  With tournament seasons extending into June and there being a large gap between region and National Championships, we felt a need for a Southeastern, “major” multi-day tournament to prepare teams for the AAU and the USAV Championships.  With AAU sanctioning the tournament as a Super-Regional and a contract on the Myrtle Beach Convention Center to hold the tournament… an opportunity to “grow volleyball forward” was presented.  From thought to fruition, the Coastal Classic Volleyball Championships was born.  Myrtle Beach offers a tremendous host location and has great proximity to NC, GA, TN, and Va.   The tournament will also allow college coaches from throughout the region to preview players prior to heading to the National events.  Coastal Calssic Volleyball Championships will be a premier AAU/USAV-Warmup in years to come.

With 128 teams, 3-day event, a convention center tournament, beautiful Myrtle Beach, guaranteed 7 matches, the best teams in the Southeast… what else could be better?
