After five years, the Winter Bump has become the largest tournament in South Carolina, hosting 332 team for the 2016 contest. Over 3000 athletes came representing eight states and bringing in over 10,000 spectators to Myrtle Beach and Spartanburg.

The talent showcased throughout the weekend was outstanding and we spotted more college coaches roaming the courts during the tournament than ever before. Some coaches that were seen throughout the weekend include the University of North Carolina, Newberry, Winthrop, Francis Marion, Converse College, Coker College, USC Upstate, Methodist College, Tusculum College, Anderson University, Erskine College, Lees McRae College, UNC Wilmington, South Carolina A&T, Laurel University, USC Salkehatchie, Greensboro College, University of Montevallo, Spartanburg Methodist College, Louisburg College, UNC Pembroke, Coastal Carolina University, Presbyterian College, Wofford, Columbia College, Claflin University, NC Central, Gardner Webb, University of South Carolina, University of Georgia, Southern Weslyan, and Davidson University.
