Each age group will be designated a specific color showcase t-shirt so that the college coaches in attendance can differentiate between each year. Late registrants will not be guaranteed their year’s t-shirt color.
We are excited to be hosting our third Elite Challenge Showcase before the Winter Bump and expect the turnout to be better than ever. With a 125 player cap, the showcase remains intimate and give competitors more than adequate time and reps to showcase their talent for college coaches. In the past, this showcase has held a 1 to 5 coach to player ratio, allowing each athlete an outstanding opportunity to be discovered by coaches.
All participants’ information will be shared not only with the college coaches in attendance, but also the coaches who come to the tournament. Last year we had approximately 20 coaches register for the showcase, and over 40 show up to recruit throughout the weekend.
Remember, showcases are amazing opportunities for all prospective student athletes to BE DISCOVERED! At this point in the club season, many college coaches are looking to discover new talent. They always have athletes under our radar – but they are still constantly searching for that special prospect to stand out – someone that may have gone undiscovered thus far. As the season goes on, coaches expect to find less and less discoveries, as they mainly travel to watch athletes with whom they have already built relationships. Build those relationships now – be someone’s discovery! The beginning of the season is the best time to do that.
Register now for the Winter Bump Elite Challenge showcase to show college coaches what you bring to the table.
REMINDER: This showcase will begin with a quick assessment of all athletes’ standing reach, block touch, and approach touch. Following the assessments, athletes will then get the opportunity to showcase their skills with a drills portion. The last segment of the showcase will be game-play where all athletes will compete in their desired position.
Can’t wait to see you then!

Heather Vahjen, head coach at Erskine College, will host our third annual recruiting seminar for parents during the Elite Challenge Showcase.
Under Coach Vahjen’s leadership, Erskine has amassed a conference record of 59-20, never recording a losing record in the conference. This past season, Erskine placed second in Conference Carolinas and in her 2015 season, she directed the Flying Fleet to a championship title, the first ever in school history. Her team included seven members who attained Academic All-Conference status as well as three All-Conference players.
Vahjen has not only coached collegiately but also at the high school level and was a collegiate athlete herself. She will be doing a Q and A for any parents interested in learning more about the recruiting process.
